Laura Pradelska
Introducing Laura Pradelska, award-winning Game of Thrones actress, entrepreneur and DJ and radio presenter. Putting chic into skating; we learn about Laura’s go-to style inspired by her love of skateboarding. Think two-pieces and mini skirts by day and all the glitter by night for her red carpet events.
How would you describe your style?
I love skateboarding so I would say skater woman, but make it chic and sexy. I love two pieces, mini skirts and bodycon pieces. I also just love jogging pants and an easy cropped t-shirt. I alway gravitate towards glitter for red carpet events. This works really well for me, especially anything gold or shiny.
My skin tone is olive and my body shape depends on the day and the month. I can be a size 8 or a size 10, and that can happen in two days just like all other women in this world! I do have some booty and some boobs so I dress accordingly; I often wear pants that are a little bit bigger so they’re not too tight, and a small 6-8 top. If I’m feeling really good about myself it’s all about the crop top and mini skirt!
What is the one thing you would save from your wardrobe in a fire and why?
I would take my Chanel bags. One is from my grandmother who survived the hollocaust which she gave to my mother when she got married; so this is extra special to me.
The second is the Chanel bag I got for my 30th birthday. I won’t let anyone borrow them because they are super delicate and sentimental; hopefully one day I can give them to my child.
What is your favourite ever preloved purchase and why?
I’ve bought a beautiful valentino cape! This is my favourite piece – I have a thing for capes. They are really versatile and you can pair them with anything; over jeans and a top or over a dress for an event.
I would say we live in a time where people struggle financially and it’s completely ok to wear a piece four or five times, it doesn’t matter; no-one cares, as long as you feel comfortable!
What is the one thing you wish you could tell your 16 year old self?
It’s not too late, you’re gonna be ok! It will happen, relax, and don’t go out so much!
If you could spend the day with one person, who and where would it be?
My boyfriend Sam. This day would be swimming in the sea or paddleboarding to our favourite little island in the Middle East, it’s so beautiful. I used to be scared of the sea but I’m not anymore, so these kinds of days with him are so special.
